Tourist stream (from inside Australia): This visa might be for you if you hold another visa that is soon to expire. You must be present in Australia at the time of applying for this visa and when Home Affairs issues the visa.
Processing time varies from 1 Day to 37 Days.

Stay Up to 12 months
Cost: From AUD 380
Tourist stream (from outside Australia): This visa is similar to the visa mentioned before but you must be present outside Australia at the time of applying for this visa and when Home Affairs issues the visa.
Processing time varies from 1 Day to 37 Days.
Why this Visa?
To visit friends and family, cruise, or spend a holiday.
Stay: Up to 12 months (You can be granted a stay of 3, 6, or 12 months)
Cost: From AUD 150
Sponsored family stream: This visa might be for you if your family member who holds Australian citizenship or Permanent Resident sponsors your cost. You must be outside Australia at the time of applying for this visa and when Home Affairs issues the visa.
Processing time varies from 28 Days to 50 Days.
Why this Visa?
To visit their family members in Australia.
Stay Up to 12 months
Cost: From AUD 150 (Your sponsor might need to pay a security bond)
Business visitor stream: This visa might be for you if you need to visit Australia only as a business visitor. You can neither work nor sell goods or services in Australia with this visa. You must be outside Australia at the time of applying for this visa and when Home Affairs issues the visa.
Processing time varies from 1 Day to 25 Days.

To visit Australia for business reasons.
Stay Up to 12 months
Cost: From AUD 150
